Compounding / Infusion Pharmacist Position Description
Are you a pharmacist ready to take a more active role in the health of your patients?
Compounding offers you the opportunity to work closely with patients and health care providers to provide customized, clinically appropriate, and cost-effective medications for your patients.
Home infusion allows patients to be treated in the comfort of their own homes where they are happier and recover faster. Home IV antibiotics, parenteral nutrition, specialty injectable, and other infused medications are growing in use as more patients are moved out of the hospital and into their homes for the treatment of their medical conditions.
Previous sterile or nonsterile compounding experience is preferred but not required.
What is required is a willingness to learn. If this is you, we’d love to hear from you.
