Key Responsibilities
As a licensed Pharmacist at Thesis Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of prescription medications, delivering exceptional patient care, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Medication Dispensing: Accurately and efficiently verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications.
Patient Counseling: Provide patient counseling on prescription medications & nutraceuticals. Provide safe usage, dosage, storage and potential health outcomes
Medication Management: Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy, address interactions, and recommend alternatives.
Compliance: Adhere to Texas State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, and USP <795>, <797>, and <800> regulations. Maintain accurate records and controlled substance accountability.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
Patient Care & Safety: Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal of medications.
Health Promotion: Support vaccination programs and educate patients on preventive health measures.
Team Collaboration: Mentor technicians, promote teamwork, and maintain a positive and professional workplace.
Continuing Education: Stay current with laws, therapies, and best practices through workshops and training.
Licensing Flexibility: Be willing to obtain non-resident pharmacist licenses as business needs arise and serve as PIC when required.

Qualifications
Required
Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing.
2+ years of experience as a staff pharmacist.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy law, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexibly across day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Commitment to accuracy, patient safety, confidentiality, and customer service.
Adaptability with new technologies and pharmacy management systems.
Preferred
Experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding.
Multiple non-resident pharmacist licenses.
Prior leadership or mentorship experience in a retail or compounding environment.
