The Oncology Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day oncology pharmacy operations in various Oncology and Infusion Centers as assigned. Reporting to the system Clinical Pharmacy Director directly and indirectly to the clinic leadership and Pharmacy Director, this individual serves as a working supervisor providing direction and supervision to oncology pharmacy technicians. In addition, the incumbent participates in direct patient care activities and coordinates services with other healthcare team members as appropriate. The Specialist will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy Services, Providers, and clinical leaders on initiatives related to oncology pharmacy operations.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * One year experience as a clinical pharmacist or with equivalent education (completion of residency or Pharm.D. degree)* Chemotherapy/Hazardous product compounding and USP 797 compliance* Clinical knowledge of oncology and specialty pharmacy; innovative pharmacy practice; pharmacoeconomics; regulations applicable to Pharmacy, including DEA, Board of Pharmacy, CMS, FDA, The Joint Commission, etc.* Pharm.D degree required* Licensed Pharmacist in Colorado required Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Minimum Pay:USD $60.60/Hr.Hiring Maximum Pay:USD $91.46/Hr.Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
